20 breakfast spots, bagel shops and coffee shops inside Cary town limits, from downtown Chatham and Academy streets to Maynard Road, Preston and NC 55.
Last checked Oct. 12, 2026. Refreshed every three months.
Breakfast and coffee in Cary cluster downtown, on East and West Chatham Street and South Academy Street, and along Maynard Road and Kildaire Farm Road. West Cary has its own run on NW Cary Parkway at Preston, at Bradford and on NC 55. Most open by 7 a.m.; several close by midafternoon.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Cary’s town limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. We added the downtown and West Cary La Farm Bakery cafes from La Farm’s own site. Where a site would not load for us, a 2026 record in Wake County’s restaurant inspection data confirms the place is operating. We left out map entries we could not confirm and places whose mailing address is in Cary, Illinois. Starbucks and Dunkin’ have more Cary stores than the ones listed. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
