Sushi and Asian restaurants in Cary: High House Road to downtown

Cary has more Asian restaurants than any other kind on our lists. The biggest cluster is on High House Road around the H Mart at No. 1961, with ramen, rice noodle and Taiwanese counters. Others line NW Maynard Road, Kildaire Farm Road and Walnut Street, and downtown has sushi, Taiwanese and Sichuan kitchens on East Chatham and South Academy streets.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Cary’s town limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. Where there was no site, or the site would not load, a 2026 record in Wake County’s restaurant inspection data confirms the place is operating. We left out map entries we could not confirm, a Raleigh restaurant and bubble tea shops. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Beijing Cafe, 740 E. Chatham St. A Chinese restaurant east of downtown with online ordering.

Brewery Bhavana Fenton, 850 Lower Garden Way. The Raleigh brewery and restaurant’s Fenton location.

Bul Box, 1125 Hatches Pond Lane. A counter that describes its food as fresh Asian flavors.

Chengdu 7, 748 E. Chatham St. A Sichuan restaurant open every day.

don-Don, inside the H Mart building on High House Road. A Japanese udon and rice bowl counter.

Fang’s Kitchen, 677 Mills Park Drive. A Chinese restaurant in west Cary, closed Mondays.

Five Spice BBQ & Dim Sum, 1065 Darrington Drive. An all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue restaurant.

Kabuki Japanese Steak House, 220 Nottingham Drive. A Japanese steakhouse confirmed by a June 24, 2026, Wake County inspection.

Kashin, 309 Crossroads Blvd. A small family-owned Japanese restaurant that says it has served Cary since 1991.

Koi Ramen, 919 N. Harrison Ave. A ramen shop with online ordering.

Love Bao Taiwanese Kitchen, 1961 High House Road. A Taiwanese counter open every day.

Lucky 7, 906 NE Maynard Road. A Chinese restaurant that says it cooks in 100% vegetable oil.

MC Cuisines, 324 S. Academy St. A downtown dinner restaurant that takes reservations, open Tuesday to Saturday.

Miso Ramen Bar, 970 High House Road. A ramen bar with a second restaurant in Raleigh; closed Mondays.

New China, 949 N. Harrison Ave. A Chinese restaurant with online ordering.

Noodle Blvd, 1718 Walnut St. A noodle restaurant that closes between lunch and dinner and on Mondays.

Oiso Sushi and Korean, Orient Garden, Q Noodles, Red Bowl Asian Bistro, Seoul Garden and Taipei 101 have sites that load but did not show us hours; each holds a 2026 Wake County inspection record.

Shanghai Alley, 1148 Kildaire Farm Road. An Asian restaurant open every day.

Shinmai Kumo and Shinmai Shokudo, Tryon Village and NW Maynard Road. Two restaurants under the Shinmai name, which has a third in Raleigh.

Sushi-Thai Cary, 106 Kilmayne Drive. Sushi and Thai food; dinner only on Sundays.

Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle, 986 High House Road. A rice noodle restaurant that serves a family feast of broth and small plates; closed Tuesdays.

Wok on Fire, Parkside. An Indo-Chinese restaurant that applies Chinese cooking techniques to Indian tastes.

Yoho Asian Bistro, Tryon Woods Drive. An Asian bistro closed Mondays.

Yuri Japanese Restaurant, 1361 Kildaire Farm Road. A Japanese restaurant open every day.

Zest Sushi and Small Plates, 175 E. Chatham St. A downtown sushi restaurant; its site points diners to street parking on Waldo Street.
