11 Cary restaurants and bars whose own sites list a patio, terrace or outdoor bar: downtown Chatham and Academy streets, Fenton, Waverly Place and more.
Last checked Oct. 12, 2026. Refreshed every three months.
Cary’s outdoor tables cluster downtown, where Zest and Pro’s Epicurean face East Chatham Street and Peck & Plume has a terrace and lawn at The Mayton, and at Fenton, where Superica and Brewery Bhavana sit off the main street. Others are in shopping centers at Waverly Place, MacGregor Village, Stone Creek Village and along Tryon and Chapel Hill roads.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Cary’s town limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. We kept only places whose own site says they have a patio, terrace, lawn or outdoor bar; a map tag alone was not enough. Every place on this list also holds a 2026 Wake County inspection record at its address. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it.
