11 burger places inside Cary town limits, on North Harrison Avenue, Walnut Street, Kildaire Farm Road, Waverly Place, Parkside and Cary Parkway.
Last checked Oct. 12, 2026. Refreshed every three months.
Burgers in Cary come from three kinds of places: national fast-food chains, several of them on North Harrison Avenue near I-40; burger-only restaurants such as Corbett’s, Char-Grill, Five Guys and Shake Shack; and taverns and sports grills that list burgers on a longer menu. Walnut Street, Kildaire Farm Road and Waverly Place each have more than one.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Cary’s town limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. We added Five Guys at Parkside and RallyPoint Sport Grill because their own sites list burgers at a Cary address. Where a site would not load for us, a 2026 record in Wake County’s restaurant inspection data confirms the place is operating. We left out map entries we could not confirm, places whose menus we could not see and places in Cary, Illinois. McDonald’s, Wendy’s and Burger King have more Cary restaurants than the ones listed. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
